Silver is a Shreveport native and proud alumna of C.E. Byrd High School. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a concentration in Pre-Law from the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2019, where she also minored in Spanish and was an active member of the ULL Law Society.
She went on to attend the Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge, where she worked in the Family Law Clinic during her final semester. While in law school, Silver had the privilege of clerking for judges of the Caddo Parish First Judicial District Court, including the Honorable Judge O’Callaghan, Judge Hathaway, and Judge Garrett.
After passing the July 2023 Louisiana Bar Exam, she began her legal career with the Caddo Parish Public Defender’s Office, where she served for a year and a half. She is a member of the Shreveport Bar Association, the Bossier City Bar Association, and the American Inns of Court (Harry V. Booth–Judge Henry A. Politz Inn). She currently serves as President of the Shreveport Bar Association Women’s Section and as a Member-at-Large for the Young Lawyers Section.
Silver recently joined Ryan E. Gatti, Attorney at Law, and remains committed to serving her community. In her free time, she coaches Mock Trial at Magnet High School.
